During our 15 minute session we did not manage to trigger a single Cursed Cluster and we only triggered one bonus game where we won a miniscule £2! To us, the volatility felt much higher but we can confirm that The Wildwood Curse is a medium volatility slot machine. We did manage to trigger several respins in a row thanks to the Sticky Wild symbols but we never hit many big wins whilst betting 20p per spin nor 40p per spin.
Only after reading a little more about the slot did we even realise that Cursed Clusters were a feature. We were playing for 15 minutes without coming close to hitting such a Cluster as you need to land them in a 2×2 cluster formation.
Overall, we are disappointed with this slot, the bonus game was especially disappointing with seven out of eight spins being dead. We lost £35 after 15 minutes of gameplay.

When a Wild symbol lands, it/they will stick to the grid and trigger a Nightmare Respin. During this, all Wild Symbols become sticky until the end of the respin. Respins will continue until no new Wild Symbols land.
CURSED CLUSTER
Landing four Wild Symbols in a 2×2 cluster during any spin will form a Cursed Cluster. When a Cursed Cluster forms, it can reveal three different Cursed characters.
- The Psycho Cluster – Will reveal a random multiplier which is applied to that cluster on each Nightmare respin. When the Psycho Cluster participates in a winning combination, the value of the win is multiplied by the shown value. If more than one Psycho Cluster participates in a winning combination then its multipliers are added together.
- The Monster Cluster – Spreads multipliers to a random number of positions on the grid. Multiple multipliers can land on the same position and will be added together. When these multipliers land in a winning combination, the value of the win is multiplied by the shown value. If another respin is triggered then new multipliers will be applied after the old ones are removed.
- The Twins Cluster – Will reveal a multiplier and when it participates in a win, the value of that multiplier will be added to the win. The Twins Cluster multiplier will double for every respin. This continues until the respins end.
