LeoVegas has confirmed that their head office in Stockholm was raided by the Economic Crimes Authority yesterday in relation to alleged insider trading suspicions linked to MGM’s $607m offer to acquire the online gambling operator.

A LeoVegas spokesperson has stated that the company’s “fully assisting” the authorities with their investigation but has also said that “no employee, member in the management team or board member in the company has been notified about any criminal suspicion. The company has no further information to provide.”

LeoVegas is one of the biggest gambling operators in the world and operates in dozens of countries, including the United Kingdom.
