When Big Gains was first announced, the SlotsHawk team thought it was going to be a gym themed slot! Alas, we were mistaken, but the meaning behind Big Gains is not about building muscles, it’s about gaining big money! Big Gains is a simple slot to play with a nice base game and a Hold the Jackpot bonus game and in this Big Gains slot review, we provide you with all of the information you need to know so that you can make an educated decision as to whether this is the correct slot for you.
BIG GAINS: FIRST IMPRESSIONS
There is not really a theme to Big Gains and it is very similar to Cash Goddess by Red Tiger, but this is not a bad thing given the SlotsHawk team scored Cash Goddess 4/5 stars. We began by betting 20p per spin and quickly realised that the base game does offer plenty of opportunity for wins thanks to the Instant Coin Collect feature and the Wild Multipliers.
After a few wins, we increased our bet to 60p per spin and we found this a lot more fun due to the higher wins. In order to hit the Instant Coin wins, you need to hit a piggy bank symbol which can appear on reels 1 and 6 only, when this happens, you will collect the value of the coin symbols on the reels. There are also four jackpot amounts which can be won the same way. To trigger the Hold the Jackpot bonus, you need to hit two Piggy Bank symbols on the reels. We managed to hit one of these and won a decent amount.
Overall, SlotsHawk did enjoy playing Big Gains, but we think the Hold the Jackpot bonus game could be improved by offering multipliers in a similar way NoLimit City did with their Fire in the Hole 3 slot game bonus where there Hold the Jackpot bonus had multipliers and much more. We ended our session with a small profit of around £4.
