Bubblegum Burst is a video slot game developed by Playtech. Themed around sweets, this is a Cluster pays slot where you must land at least eight of the same symbols on the reels for a win to trigger. There is a free spins game as well as a Plinko game which is triggered randomly after landing a bubblegum wrapper symbol.
In this Bubblegum Burst slot review, we will provide you with all of the information you need so that you can decide whether this is a slot game you would like to play for real money or not.
If you are short on time, we do NOT believe that Bubblegum Burst is worth playing because of its low bonus game hit rate and general tediousness. Instead, we would highly recommend you to play MeJUICEa by Thunderkick which is a similar style slot game with much better features and multipliers.
BUBBLEGUM BURST: FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The first thing we noticed was how slow this slot seemed to play and it was a theme we felt throughout, to be honest, we were falling asleep whilst playing Bubblegum Burst! The free spins game is incredibly hard to trigger because it requires a minimum of four scatter symbols on the reels. The Plinko bonus game is also not easy to trigger, although we did trigger it twice, but we won the minimum amount possible both times.
We were betting the minimum of 20p per spin whilst using the Extra Bet which added an extra 5p onto our bet size.
Overall, we lost £50 after around 35 minutes of gameplay. We won’t be playing this slot again!

BUBBLEGUM BURST FREE SPINS GAME
Landing four or more Lollipop scatter symbols will trigger the Free Spins feature. The game begins with nine free spins. There are 10 levels and five steps in each level.
Before the Free Spins begin, a wheel spins to determine how many Steps headstart is awarded. Each level has a multiplier, which multiplies all symbol pays that occur on that level. Multiplier levels range from 2x all the way up to 100x. When a cascade occurs, one Step will progress in the current Level. Once five Steps are progressed in a Level, three additional free spins are awarded and the game moves to the next Level.
At the end of each free spins, if a player lands three or more UP symbols, the game will automatically move to the start of the next level. Up symbols do not cascade.
At the end of the Free Spins, an option to replay the feature will be offered if the total win of the free spins is less than 25x your bet.
PLINKO FEATURE
The Plinko feature will award one of the five slot jackpot bonuses.
A Gumball will fall down a Plinko triangle until three Gumballs have landed in one triangle.
