We were incredibly excited to play The Goonies Quest for Treasure 3, considering The Goonies Rapid Fire Jackpots is one of Slotshawk’s favourite slots of all time. Unfortunately we are sorry to say that it pales in comparison to the aforementioned Goonies slot. We played The Goonies Quest for Treasure 3 for around 70 minutes and it took us over an hour just to trigger one of the main bonus games which is the complete opposite experience we have had with other Goonies slots.
Overall, The Goonies Quest for Treasure 3 plays similar to others in the series but the main drawback is simply how difficult the bonus games are to hit, even the mini bonus games are rare. In addition, base game wins are lacking even with the collect symbol as it just does not land often enough. When we did trigger two of the main bonus games, we never won more than 40x our bet in total either so as you can imagine, we finished our 70 minute session down over £200!
The Goonies Quest for Treasure 3 is played on a 4×6 grid with 4,096 paylines. The RTP is all the way down at 92% though which goes some way to explaining the lack of wins. The max win is set at 10,000x and the hit rate is 25% although we certainly came out with much less than that.
