NECROMANCER’S GATE: SLOT OVERVIEW
Last Updated: January 20, 2026Written by Stephen Cummings
Necromancer’s are the evil versions of wizards – think Saruman after his corruption or Imhotep when he is raising his army of the dead. So, in Relax Gaming’s Necromancer’s Gate, expect dark magic to take ahold. Interestingly enough, the Necromancer in this game is sort of on your team, as when you trigger wins or one of the games two bonus spin rounds, the Necromancer will cast a spell and give you your payout or send you to the bonus game reels. Necromancer’s Gate is primarily played on a 5×4 grid with the exception being the free spins games.
NECROMANCER’S GATE RTP AND FEATURES

Necromancer’s Gate has an RTP of 96.10% – this is slightly above average when you compare it with other slot games.
There are plenty of game features in Necromancer’s Gate. One of our favourites is the Mystery Respin – at the beginning of any spin, the Necromancer may summon 1-16 cursed skulls on the reels. The skulls will appear across reels 1, 2, 4 and 5 but to unlock them you will need to trigger the Ghoul on reel 3. If this happens, the skulls will burst open and reveal a 1-10x multiplier. If a scatter symbol appears inside one of the skulls, you will be taken directly to the Chaos Spins round.
During Chaos Spins, the grid is expanded to 5×7. The reels will spin and the goal is to land as many skull symbols on the reels as possible. At the end of each spin, you will have three chances to land the Ghoul symbol. You will get a random multiplier from all three which will then be added to the skull reveal. If you fail to land a Ghoul, the Necromancer may assist and spin for you again! Skulls stay sticky for the duration of the spins. It is also possible to land Scatters but they are not sticky. For each Scatter landed during Chaos Spins, you will be rewarded with an additional free spin.
Another key feature is the Necromancer’s Coin Toss which is completely random and can happen in all game modes. Each symbol reveals:
- Coin – worth up to 1,000x.
- Monocle of Doom – Chooses a Coin and doubles its value 1 to 5 times.
- Soul Collector – Collects all Coin values in view and then resets all coins to grant a respin. If a new Sou Collector lands, it will collect the values and will reset the coin toss once again.
- Inferno Staff – Shoots the value it lands with (1-50x) to all coins in view.
- Ghoul Tonic – Targets a Ghoul Activator on the reels and boosts its multiplier by an additional 1x-9x.

There are Feature Buy options too in Necromancer’s Gate. It is possible to purchase a Mystery Spin for 20x your total wager. This is essentially a one shot attempt of the Chaos Spins but with a smaller grid and only one possible chance of hitting a Ghoul Multiplier.
There is an Ante Bet feature too which at the cost of 25% of your bet, you will have double the chance of gaining entry to Chaos Spins.
Feature Buys are not available in the UK barring the Ante Bet.
