MEET THE SLOTSHAWK EXPERTS
Our in-house editorial team have over 100 years of experience between them and are the cogs in the SlotsHawk machine. Most of our writers and editors were SlotsHawk readers before joining our team and have occupied various positions within the casino and betting industry. They are also all slots players themselves so they bring their own experiences to their articles.
Before building SlotsHawk, Iain had been made redundant so had finally found time on his hands to pursue his own creation. Iain’s passion is writing and slots so blending the two together into SlotsHawk with the aim of helping other slots players navigate their way through the world of online casinos was a match made in heaven. Iain remains heavily involved in the day-to-day running of SlotsHawk today.

I have been writing about gambling since 2017, publishing ‘Risking it All: the freedom to gamble’ in 2022. I started writing for SlotsHawk in 2021, covering news about the UK gambling industry and offering a view from the perspective of the player. I speak about gambling in public debates, as well as in the media, as there needs to be a voice from the gambling consumer, who is often overlooked. Playing poker with friends 40 years ago got me interested in gambling, and I continue to play poker on a recreational basis today.
